About Spot Collection Appaloosas and SpoCo Great Danes:

Spot Collection Appaloosas (SCA)  was established in September of 2002. Our goal here at SCA is to breed for conformation and the all-around performance horse with color. Our stallion ZIPPIN DIRTY, which is a grand son of ZIPPO PINE BAR and out of a TIM KING daughter, is a result of a cross that has proven its place in the Appaloosa Show World many times over. We purchased ZD from Rocky Top Appaloosas in July of 2005 when he was just four months old. We knew that we would find a wonderful stallion prospect from Bill and Jeanette and thats exactly what we found. ZD has turned heads from the time he was a weanling being shown in halter to the present  and competing at the World Show for the first time. ZD's first foal crop was in 2008 and they are eligible for futurities around the MN, ND, IA area. Check out ZIPPIN DIRTY's Page for more details!

The Many Aspects of SCA: At SCA we have many areas of the industry we are involved in. These include; Training for western, hunt, trail, halter, longeline events and also train basic essentials and finishing. SCA also provides Breeding, foaling out mares with use of foal cams, sales, and boarding.

SpoCo Great Danes

We also Breed and raise Great Danes, we have done our research when purchasing our breeding pair and we strive to create a conformationally correct, healthy danes with exceptional dispositions. Our danes are our family, they are raised with love, kindness, and knowledge and we pride ourselves in the ability to give you your future family pet and/or your next show prospect. We only breed once a year for now but we do plan on extending our program in the future with the person whom I have learned much of my canine breeding and raising knowledge from, Brianna Fisher.

Quality is what we provide in both the equine and canine aspect.

Our goal here at SCA is to cross some of the great modern lines with our Zippo bred stallion in order to create top contending World quality competitors. We will soon be seeing Zippin Dirty's foals reaching the World Show Ring and we cannot wait to see the success that comes from the pure talent of the foals and dedication and drive of our ZD foal owners!
